Precautions for using zeolite molecular sieve

Zeolite molecular sieves easily absorb moisture. When stored, they should not be directly exposed to air and should be placed in a dry place. Zeolite molecular sieves have a long storage time and absorb moisture, so they should be regenerated before use.
Zeolite molecular sieves should avoid oil and liquid water. Oil can clog the pores of molecular sieves Especially during the regeneration process, it is possible to carbonize the oil and cause pore blockage. For oil containing natural gas, hydrocarbons, oil, and water should be separated before the molecular sieve tower. Due to the heat released by zeolite molecular sieves during water adsorption, a large amount of heat is released when liquid water comes into direct contact with the molecular sieves. Possible hazards may occur or the performance of the molecular sieve may be affected.
When operating a zeolite molecular sieve tower with pressure in the regeneration switch, the pressure inside the tower should slowly decrease. If the pressure is reduced too quickly, the zeolite molecular sieve particles will break and shatter. The higher the regeneration temperature, the safer the regeneration, and the greater the energy consumption for regeneration, thereby shortening the lifespan of the molecular sieve. Therefore, the regeneration temperature is suitable between 200-350 ℃. The regeneration temperature usually does not exceed 600 ℃, otherwise the molecular sieve will lose its activity.
