It has good thermal stability, strong adsorption performance, large internal surface area, and high strength.
Due to their different uses, molecular sieves are divided into several categories. It includes 3A, 4A, 5A, 13X, 13X air separation specific molecular sieves. It also has hollow glass molecular sieves, molecular sieve activation powders, carbon molecular sieves, etc.
II Advantages of molecular sieves:
Select adsorption according to the size and shape of the molecules, that is, only adsorb molecules smaller than the pore size of the molecular sieve. For small particles with good polarity and good unsaturation, they have the ability to selectively adsorb and inject energy. The larger the polarity and the higher the unsaturation, the stronger their selective adsorption ability. Has strong water absorption. Even at higher temperatures, higher airspeed, and lower water content, there is still a considerable water absorption capacity.
III Interpretation of insulating Glass:
In the current market of insulating glass molecular sieve, some products do not use 3A molecular sieves as desiccants. Some manufacturers use 4A molecular sieves or even B-class desiccants as desiccants in insulated glass, which can reduce the service life of the insulating glass molecular sieve.
Although 4A molecular sieve has strong adsorption capacity for water, it also has strong adsorption capacity for nitrogen and other inert gases in the air. As the temperature rises and falls, it will adsorb and release gases in the already insulated glass. With the temperature difference between day and night or seasonal changes, the insulated glass is easily twisted and broken due to expansion and contraction, causing safety accidents. Therefore, in the production of insulating glass, it is strictly prohibited to use molecular sieves other than 3A as desiccants for insulating glass.
