The working principle of ceramic saddle ring packing is based on gas-liquid mass transfer process. In tower equipment, gas enters from above the packing and comes into full contact with the liquid entering from below through the porous channels of the packing. Due to the irregular structure and porous design of the packing, the gas-liquid contact area is large and the contact time is long, thereby significantly improving mass transfer efficiency. Specifically, solutes in gases are absorbed by liquids during contact, achieving gas-liquid mass transfer. In addition, the special design of the packing also optimizes the gas-liquid flow path, reduces the air pressure in the packing tower, and further improves the mass transfer effect.
Ceramic saddle ring packing has the following advantages:
Excellent acid and heat resistance: capable of withstanding corrosion from various inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid.
High flux, reduced pressure, and high efficiency: Compared with the same material of Raschig ring packing, ceramic saddle ring packing has greater flux, lower pressure drop, and higher efficiency.
Superior structure: Its shape is between circular and saddle shaped, which is conducive to liquid distribution and increases gas channels.
High mechanical strength: The special design of the filler improves its mechanical strength.
