Ceramic ball arches are also know as acid resistant ceramic ball arches because they finely processed using acid resistant chemical ceramics.
The Raw Materials of Ceramic Ball Arches
The product made from clay, feldspar and other raw materials containing a high amount of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. Through processes such as design, ball milling, mud refining, mold design, extrusion, cutting, repairing, drying, firing, and pre plating, the resulting ball arches have a clean and beautiful appearance, dimensions that meet the requirements for tower installation, strong support, and are easy to install.
Ceramic ball arch (full name: acid resistant ceramic ball arch with large opening rate) is a new type of supporting structure for sulfuric acid dry and suction tower packing. It designed base on the arch bridge arch structure support principle, and has a large opening rate, uniform gas distribution, high mechanical strength, large coefficient, good stability, strong corrosion resistance, high heat resistance, and easy construction. It also has some corrosion problems that are difficult to solve with other materials, and a long service life. Sulfur based sulfuric acid production is an ideal material for corrosion prevention in industrial facilities such as fertilizers, smelting, light industry, and petrochemicals, as well as a high-efficiency tower packing material.
We Pingxiang Zhongci Ceramics Factory
Note: Pingxiang Zhongci Ceramic Factory can produce products with special specifications or requirements that meet the needs of users, and can also produce according to user drawings and design for users. Easy ordering, fast delivery, agency shipping, and implementation of three guarantees. We welcome customers to visit and patronize us.
Varieties and specifications of ceramic ball arches:
- Our company can design and manufacture series of products such as ball arches with a diameter of 1000-8000mm according to the inner diameter of the equipment. Or design and manufacture according to customer requirements.
- There are two types of classification: single-layer and double-layer. Single layer spherical arches are assemble into spherical support arches using “I” – shaped arc-shaped bricks (supported by cross partition rings). The all ceramic double-layer composite ball arch is assemble into a spherical support arch using a layer of “I-shaped” arc-shaped bricks and a layer of regular arc-shaped ceramic grid bricks (no longer requiring a cross partition ring).
Application of Ceramic Ball Arch:
Ceramic ball arches used in coking and sulfuric acid production (such as acid production from smelting tail gas, acid production from pyrite)
