1、 Polyurethane bubble problem
During the production and filling process of AB glue, the problem of bubbles generated by the glue is often encountered. Bubbles in colloids can affect the bonding effect between adhesives, reduce the viscosity of colloids. And ultimately shorten their service life, even leading to colloid separation. Why do AB glue filling bubbles occur?
What formula or improvement method can be used to solve this problem?
1、 Cause analysis
Before solving the problem, we first need to understand the cause of bubbles in AB glue filling. There are mainly the following points:
- Glue contains gas: During the production process, glue may inhale air or other gases, causing bubbles to form when filling.
- Vibration during the gluing process: If there is vibration or vibration during the gluing process, bubbles will be generated in the glue.
- Improper gluing process: Improper settings of parameters such as gluing speed, pressure, and temperature can also lead to the generation of bubbles
2、 Solution method of bubbles by powder molecular sieve
In response to the above reasons, we can take the following measures to solve the problem of AB glue filling bubbles
- Gas removal treatment: Before using the glue, it can be left for a period of time to allow the gas inside to dissipate on its own. Vacuum pumps and other equipment can also be used for degassing treatment to remove bubbles from the glue.
- Vibration control: During the glue filling process, minimize the presence of vibration or vibration as much as possible. By adjusting the working state of the equipment, the amplitude and frequency of vibration can be reduced. Thereby reducing the generation of bubbles.
- Process optimization: Reasonably set parameters such as glue filling speed, pressure, and temperature. Generally speaking, the glue filling speed should not be too fast, the pressure should not be too high. And the temperature should not be too high. By optimizing these parameters, the generation of bubbles can be reduced.
3. Improvement for Production Process
- Detection and elimination: During the glue filling process, timely detect whether there are bubbles in the glue and eliminate them in a timely manner. It can be detected by observing the flow state of the glue and using infrared detectors. Once bubbles are found, measures should be taken promptly to eliminate them.
- Adding powder molecular sieve: Molecular sieve, as a selective adsorption ultrafine powder material, is widely used in the production process of polyurethane adhesive. It can effectively remove water from the colloid and block the carbon dioxide generated by the reaction between colloid raw materials and water, thereby reducing bubbles in the colloid. Xintao molecular sieve activated powder has the characteristics of rapid dispersion, fine and uniform powder, strong adsorption, low water content, and high purity. By using physical adsorption, it does not affect or cause chemical reactions in colloids, which can effectively shorten the production time of colloids and extend the service life of polyurethane adhesives.
