The temperature rise of molecular sieves is a commercial indicator for testing molecular sieves, so how should we detect the temperature rise of molecular sieves?
The temperature rise detection of molecular sieves mainly consists of the following five steps:
1、 Take 100 grams of molecular sieve sample and 50-100ml of water.
2、 Use a thermometer to measure the water temperature first and record this temperature. The temperature is T.
3、 The thermometer should not put at the bottom of the beaker containing molecular sieves.
4、 Slowly pour 60ml of water into the molecular sieve and stir gently. Observe the temperature on the thermometer and record the high temperature as M.
5 M-T is the temperature rise of the molecular sieve.At present, there are several common molecular sieve methods in China,
10 grams of molecular sieves and 10 milliliters of water
20 milliliters of molecular sieves and 20 milliliters of water
25 grams of molecular sieves and 25 milliliters of water
Under normal circumstances, place it before the water is release, as the density (specific gravity) of the molecular sieve varies and is above 0.7, while water is 1. In other words, if it is placed first, the one with a lighter specific gravity will remain suspended on the water surface for a longer period of time, and the temperature will not aggregate, resulting in a lower temperature rise. However, in practical use, the one with a lighter specific gravity should be selected because it contains more raw powder and less binder.
In fact, temperature rise is just a commercial indicator, and the key indicator is their adsorption capacity.
