Characteristics of Zeolite Powder

As a Carrier

Zeolite powder is an ideal carrier for various raw materials in animal feed, such as vitamins, probiotics, minerals, trace elements, and other additives. It also increases the number of digestive enzymes secreted by the gastrointestinal glands, facilitating the full absorption of feed nutrients. Additionally, it can activate certain microbial enzymes in the body, improving the animal’s ability to absorb nutrients and the feed conversion rate.
  • Improved Survival Rate: Adding 5% zeolite powder to the feed for piglets can significantly increase their survival rate by over 70%. It also enhances their physical fitness and antiviral ability. For shrimp and crabs, using zeolite powder as an additive in their bait can enhance their digestive system function, promote intestinal absorption, increase palatability, and improve the utilization rate of the bait.
  • Disease Prevention: it can effectively eliminate bacterial infections, parasites, and toxins in animals. It stores these harmful substances and then excretes them from the animal’s body with feces, reducing the incidence of diseases such as diarrhea in chickens.

5. Production Increase

After a three – month breeding cycle, it has been found that using zeolite powder in the feed of laying hens, broilers, and dairy cows can increase the meat yield, lean meat percentage, egg production rate, and milk yield by about 10 percentage points compared with animals raised without zeolite powder.

6. Facilitation of Granulation

When producing granular feed for cattle and sheep, adding zeolite powder can significantly improve the ball – forming rate of the feed. The hardness and strength of the granules are also greatly improved, resulting in uniform, smooth granules with less return material, no powder, and no impurities.
