Curve of water adsorption on 3A molecular sieve

The pore size of 3A molecular sieve is 3A, mainly used for adsorbing water, and does not adsorb any molecules with a diameter greater than 3A. According to the industrial application characteristics, the molecular sieve we produce has faster adsorption speed, more regeneration times, higher crushing strength and anti pollution ability, which improves the utilization efficiency of the molecular sieve and extends its service life. It is the preferred desiccant for gas-liquid phase deep drying, refining, and polymerization in the petroleum and chemical industries.

Specific application:

Drying of various liquids (such as ethanol), drying of air, drying of refrigerants, drying of natural gas and methane gas, drying of unsaturated hydrocarbons and cracking gases, ethylene, acetylene, propylene, and butadiene.
matters needing attention:
Molecular sieves should be prevented from pre adsorbing water, organic gases, or liquids before use, otherwise they should be regenerated.
Regeneration of molecular sieves:
Moisture removal: depends on the pressure, temperature, and moisture content of the regenerated gas. In general, dry gas at 200-350 ℃ is passed through a molecular sieve bed at a pressure of 0.3-0.5 Kg/square centimeter for 3-4 hours to reach an outlet temperature of 110-180 ℃ and then cooled.
Organic matter removal: Replace organic matter with water vapor and then remove water.

Storage of 3A molecular sieve


Storage of molecular sieves: Room temperature, relative humidity not exceeding 90%. Indoor storage: Avoid water, acid, alkali, isolate from air, and store in a sealed environment

From the graph, it can be seen that our 3A molecular sieve has the best water adsorption capacity at room temperature. As the temperature increases, the adsorption capacity gradually decreases, and after 100 degrees, it almost no longer adsorbs. Above 150 degrees, the molecular sieve begins to regenerate.
The adsorption of 3A molecular sieve is related to pressure, and as the pressure increases, the amount of adsorbed water also increases
The adsorption of 3A molecular sieve is also related to the surrounding environment. The higher the humidity of the surrounding environment, the greater the adsorption capacity until saturation.
