Catalyst bed support ball is essential components in various industrial processes, offering reliable support for catalysts in complex operating environments. This introduction provides an overview of their characteristics, applications, and more.
On May 29th, One full container of 27ton ceramic balls loaded and ready to ship it to Russia.

1. Manufacturer and Product Range
We are professional manufacturers based in different regions. For example, some companies are from Shandong, China, while others are in India. Our product range includes different types of catalyst bed support ball, such as high – purity alumina ceramic balls, inert ceramic balls, and high – alumina support balls, etc.
2. Product Features
Alumina Ceramic Balls
Take the SAINA brand alumina ceramic balls from Shandong, China as an example. These balls have the following outstanding features:
- Chemical and Physical Properties: They have an Al₂O₃ content of ≥99% and Fe₂O₃ content of ≤0.10%. With a bulk density of ≥3.2, packing density of ≥2.15, water absorption of ≤2, and compress strength of ≥15 (kn/piece). The forming method is by rolling, and the diameter ranges from 3 to 80 mm.
- Advantages: They possess high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, high corrosion resistance. They also have a smooth surface, a high degree of thermal stability and a crystalline structure.
Inert Ceramic Balls
Inert ceramic balls, like those from Indian manufacturers, are known for their use in catalyst bed support, filter media, and ceramic tower packing. These balls are also used by some of the largest petroleum refineries in India, and are also available in smaller quantities for markets in the US and Europe.
Other Balls
Some RP9 inert ceramic balls have unmatched impact resistance, thermal shock and crush strength. They are an excellent choice for catalyst and adsorbent bed support media due to high – quality raw materials, controlled processing and consistent properties.
3. Applications
Catalyst bed support balls are widely- used in multiple industries:
- Petrochemical Industry: They serve as catalytic supports in petrochemical, gas treatment, and solvent recovery systems.
- Fertilizer Production Plants: In fertilizer production, these balls help support catalysts and ensure the stable operation of production processes.
4. Packaging and Shipping
Packaging options vary according to customer requirements:
- Alumina ceramic balls are usually packed in double plastic bags of 25kg/bag. There are 40 or 50 bags on one pallet, and 20 pallets can be loaded into a 1×20’FCL container. Jumbo bags or steel drum packages are also available upon request.
5. Service Advantages
- Quality Assurance: We ensure high – quality products through strict production processes and quality control.
- Price Competitiveness: We offer reasonable prices to meet different market demands.
- Delivery Time: Delivery is fast. For example, if the available stock is sufficient, the delivery can be completed within 7 days.
- After – sales Service: We provide sound after – sales service to solve any problems customers may encounter during use.
